March 23rd, 2020 – Day Seven of #ThreePositiveThings
This is day seven of my personal project to spread more positives vibes in times of COVID-19 pandemic:
A series named #ThreePositiveThings where I’m going to share at least 3 positive things that either happened to me during my day or, that I am particularly grateful for at the moment.
Here you can catch up with the initial blog post if you want to.
#1 – Gratitude for my Home Base
With the weather being awesome and Germany enforcing more rules towards a total lockdown, I am becoming extremely grateful for our home base. We have a cozy house surrounded by fields and woods which gives me all the opportunities to be creative, to relax, to calm down, to play with my dogs, to exercise – may it be inside or outside.
#2 – D&D Game Night is Full
As mentioned a few days ago, I’m trying to organize a Dungeons & Dragons game night. Today we completed our group with the fifth and last player and fixed the date to Wednesday, April 1st, which gives our gamemaster Luc lots of opportunities to fool us. 😉
I am already looking forward to this new adventure with my fierce companions!
#3 – Sunshine & Audiobooks
Wrapped in fleece and blankets (because of four degrees celsius), the dogs and I took a long sunbath in the garden this afternoon. First I listened to the news, and then I thought it would be much nicer to hear something more pleasant for a change. After having given up on audiobooks very soon after my first attempt a few years ago, I decided to give them a second chance. So I started listening to Jojo Moyes’ Me Before You and I liked it very much so far.
I wanted to read that book for years and never took the time.
